What You Can't Learn Through Language

There's some structural relationship between the structure of language and the world. Without carefully figuring out what that relationship is, which is very hard, it's hard to say how much you can learn about the structure of the world as expressed in language through language alone. However, if what you care about understanding language is something that you do behaviorly in language, then it's pretty much impossible to rule out the possibility that that thing about guage is somehow captured in the structure oflanguage already. And so it's difficult to say what you can't learn through language Alone.
