The Garden of Eden and the Serpent

The Prince of Rome happened to be the one who was in the Garden of Eden. It could have been all kinds of different creatures, but that's so when you go and read the Jews what they talked about it. So there's some speculation going on to some degree in terms of who this person is. But taking John at his word and believing that he's inspired, I take the view that the person that we call Satan is the same character that's in the garden of Eden.
