The Importance of Symbolism

In Revelation, it sounds like no one who has died is in heaven or hell yet. But Paul and I are both of the persuasion that well, that's the way the New Testament usually speaks. We had this question in the last hour about where are people in this kind of intermediary state? What we just said there in a nutshell is that some people think that between now and when you die and heaven, people are just unconscious. They don't exist but they got kind of recreated in a resurrection. It's important to remember that you're dealing with symbols here.
