How Learning Happens in the Brain
Erons talk to each other at special points of communication called the synaps. The first cell releases a chemical substance that diffuses across thi little space, binds to the next cell and gets an excitatory process or inhibitory process going in the follower cell. Happens very rapidly, and happens in every nerve cell of the brain, not simultaneously, but at different times. I was the first person to show directly that learning involves changes in the strength of how nerve cells communicate with one another.
