How to Be a Manager of Inspiration
By 2030, I believe Gen Z is going to be about 25% of the workforce. When we know that our Gen Z colleagues care deeply about their work aligning to their purpose and to their own personal mission, then the manager actually has to be this manager of inspiration. The other piece where we fall short is that managers are just absolutely bogged down by administrative tasks. And so if push comes to shove, I'm going to prioritize my work.
