The Fed didn't realize that quantitative easing would end. They had way too many mortgage-backed securities on their balance sheet. This is the same problem the Fed has, but they're a central bank. If we have another bank roll over this coming week, they're going to have to drop rates. That would be a very, very unusual sign.
