A Japanese monk asked for 10,000 yen to fund world peace. The money was actually worth about $70 at today's exchange rates. After researching the true value of the note and the existence of scams involving individuals, posekas monks, Chris came to the realization that he had unwittingly made somebody's day. It reminds him of his weekend in Belgrade when a taxi driver scammed them so hard.
