The Importance of Predicate Focus

There's one language I have come across in, I think it's closely related to Somali. It has a symmetrical focus system where if you have predicate focus, there's a marker on the verb. And if you have argument focus, there're two markers and you will always get one of them. Unless you have a WH question, which is counted as inherently focused and doesn't take the special marker. You don't have a situation where there's just sort of no marking for focus at all.
