How to Develop Moral Creative Imaginations

What strategies do you recommend for students to develop moral creative imaginations? Well, I don't think I know the answer to that. My homiletics colleague at Columbia Seminary on a Carter Florence requires students to identify and narrate new parables That they have served in the world around them. And we live in such an instantaneous society that we want to get everything at first glance. But artists cannot hurry. Artists have to linger.
