Is the 60 Portfolio Dead?

I don't know that 60 forty should be the starting point any more. I think a better arting point probably puts an alternative asset class in there. You have to take on other asset classes that are going to make more sense. If you're trying to protect against inflation, i would pull assets from that bond elocation and put it into alternative assets. Then you pull from that equity side and diversify some of the equity exposure,. especially in enviromet where equities have such high valuations.
