The Intuitions You Have About How Billiard Balls Behave
The laws governing things like behaviors between billiard balls have a mathematical property that physicists refer to as time reversal symmetry. The process you see when the film is shown in reverse, namely this one, is every bit as much in accord with all of the intuitions that you have about how billiard balls behave when they're colliding as what you see when you're shown the film in the correct direction. That these laws have a certain mathematical feature referred to as invariance under time reversal, which guarantees that for any process that's in accord with those laws, the same process going backwards is also in accord with them.
