Using Technology to Address the Root of Your Anxiety
I really see a lot of common threads between these misguided or limiting approaches to mental health care and the techno solutions that get a lot of hype and attention as ways to address ar climate crises. Both tend to individualize the problems, like the concept of carbon footprints, leading to people fixating on life style changes. But what we really need are large skilll solutions and large scale support from communities and organizations that are bigger than just one person. And so i wonder if it's just part of our culture of individualism and also the ne liberal influences that lead to this sort of innovative, incrementalis fixes.
