Mao's Long March

Yang and Ping have to decide whether to leave a little turnip behind while they're in, I guess, rural Chinese village. It absolutely did happen while they were on the long march. Mao himself had a daughter, well, he left his daughter, his newborn daughter, in a Szechuan province. The beggars guild was something that I also mentioned in part three, and then it becomes like a bigger deal in part four and in part five of the novel.
