Beckett - A Play About the Human Condition
What I appreciate most about Beckett is that kind of honesty in representing the human condition as it is without solutions or remedies, there simply aren't any. It's not an optimistic play but I think it's a hopeful play. For example, just I think we might mention that in the early 1950s when the battle was still raging to understand this play and there were people who were for and people who were against and so on. But any one of the incarcerated knows exactly what this is about and it's about our experience of life.
