The Sound Factory: A Break From Reality
The sound factory was like a break from reality. When you go inside, outside world doesn't exist for however long you're there. A very special moment for me was hearing the whistle song on acetate because I could hear the crackle of it. It's like, this is where I need to be, because things that I like to happen happen here. And it was true for a long time. The only other time I heard it was on DJ's disciples radio show, which I would tape every single week. But when I heard it there, it solidified everything. So if you do that and then you add dancing to it, man, you're in your own world.
