Sea Nymphs in Ancient Greece - The Peloponnese
The Peloponnese is also an important place when looking at sea nymphs and ent greek maritime history. There were important shrines right on the seashore at most of the major ports of the peloponneses. The two that i want to point out the most are those of messenia and sparta. Messenia, therefore, was a really strong place for the nariids and a strong place of devotion to them.
