Much of your research has focused on teens and you've written previous books with advice for parents of teens. What made you decide to turn your focus to young adults? I wish I could say it was my idea but it wasn't. AARP which is the organization that advocates for and supports adults who were 50 and older began hearing from their membership that they were having trouble navigating the challenges of a grown child.
