DPP4 Enzymes and Celiac Disease

The DPP4 enzyme, dipeptal peptidase 4, is an enzyme that breaks down hard to digest immunostimulating enzymes or proteins of gluten, anglion, and casein. There were clinical trials on DPP4 enzymes that would help raise that enzyme with the hopes that it would help somebody who was celiac. The drug companies really wanted to come up with a way that big food could continue to sell wheat to people and basically give a drug that would allow anybody to eat whatever they wanted.
