God Is Always There, Even in the Most Extremed Pain
We have built a world that's largely closed off to him. I think his influence comes through all the time anyway in more ways than I think we would realize. But largely we see the edifice and we don't notice what's streaming through the cracks. The Course says if he stepped in and just did it for us, he would prove to us that the perfect are unable to remember their own perfection. That would imply they aren't perfect. So in the end, we have to do the learning that gets us back.
