The Cost of Hydrogen
A gallon of jet fuel is about the same energy content as a kilo of hydrogen, approximately speaking. Jet fuel in general is forecast to go from what would be a nominal price pre-Ukraine war of maybe three bucks a gallon up to about five, six dollars a gallon over the next decade or so. The cost of hydrogen would go from maybe six, seven dollars per kilo today to about three or four dollars per kilos in 2025 and one dollar per kilo in 2030.
