Did Jesus Have to Die?

The conventional wisdom is that man incurred a sin deat in the garden, and this syndect persisted until god sent forth his son for the redemption of sins. But if we operate from the premise that god created everything and he said it was good, where is the debt incurred? And when i look at jesus himself and his words, i don't really see where he mentioned that. So he just throws up a lot of questions. I'm kind of spin a connotation, like, did jesus have to die?"
