The Importance of Values in Technology
I remember the early days of Excel from Microsoft, how many people who were doing the work manually felt that when computers came along laptops and all these tools at Microsoft, like to put them out of business. And in fact, that's clearly an example where a lot more opportunities opened up than we're lost. I think what we can say is that we don't know what's going to happen. But if we have the right values, good things can happen. That is my thesis.
