The Power of Genre
I think genre gives you sort of it comes with pre-established conventions and so you can play against something. The audience usually knows whether they consciously or unconsciously like know the limits of each genre that it presents itself. John Boyega through Juel's direction was able to take a character that we've seen a thousand times and twist it in a slightly different way that had a lot of like resonance to it. Tony, I want to talk about how he embodied different versions of this character that's being cloned in "Tyrone"
