Is There a Model of Desire in the World?

There are really two major models of desire in the world, and this comes from rene gerard himself. He says that we have external models of desire; an internal model is an inside of our world. With social media, with modern technology, it's almost as if everybody can be an internal model of desire. And i think a lot of celebrities do it intentionally: straddling the line between an external and an internal mediator of desire.
