How to Slow Down in Walking Meditation

I want to emphasize cutting back on online activity, texting, emailing, tweeting. I just deactivated my Twitter account that we use in our own life. It really makes a difference to have boundaries around online activity because otherwise our attention's being manipulated and the trance deepens. When we move half as fast, we perceive twice as much. Many of you might know that at Buddhist retreats, the instructions are very explicit to begin to slow down in walking meditation; so much can wake up.
