The threat of motherhood looms large in the book. Esther at one point does like get a diaphragm so that she can try to prevent actually having kids and it's empowering to her. So yeah it's a I am very happy I read it is a very good book. That's not that definitely definitely gets to some stuff about depression that makes it sound like you something you can just like snap out of which is not the case.
