The equality operator is the thing that you regret. So maybe you can. Making it sloppy. I left out garbage collection, which came back to haunt me. But I got reference counting in in time so people weren't running out of memory right away on long-lived JavaScript. This was before things like non-executable heap memory and stack defenses against taking over memory.
