The Future of Self Replicating Robots Isn't Here

We do not currently utilize simple self replicatos on earth. There is no real benefit yet to developing the technology solely for oarth use. You could, as easi, plant that pea on an astroid here at home and tell it to turn that into a thousand giant colony ships. But we're not talking about some p size seed landing on the moon and becoming a whole community. We don't actually need self replicating buildings and structures here on earth. They offer no tangible advantage compared to self repairing or self assembling structures. Drones that repair your vote for you are just as pealing as some organic road that heals itself.
