The Unknown Philosopher, A.B.M. Razi

Abu Bakr Muhammad ibn Zakhariyyah Razi devised a theory according to which the universe was created in time, but was preceded by no fewer than five entities. He showed an irreverent attitude towards authorities of the ancient medical tradition. Ironically enough he may have learned this irreverence from the greatest of those authorities, Gellin.
