interesting feature of this. So, you know, in one sense, GPT 3 or GPT, GPT, generative preprogrammed transformers, whatever that stands for. I didn't get quite right. This is also fairly new. I mean, probably in the last five to six years that this technique was used to create these, this kind of large language model. But it was kind of hidden behind technical interfaces, and it wasn't widely available. And what chat TBT has done is at least for the moment, make it free. Anyone could sign up for an account, try it out. And it's also very natural. The ways that you used it before, which I've been doing for a while, require you to have some level of comfort with kind of a weird technical interface that people just weren't interested in finding out about. But, gosh, when you can just type in your question, and the computer talks back to you like a person, that's compelling. And so, yeah, it's the interface layer that actually made it a big story, even though all the capabilities were there for a couple of years and available to the public for, you know, probably the last year or

two. So I want to talk about the emotions that have been triggered by chat GPT. There's a lot of analysis. But what I sense is this underlying emotional valence to all this coverage. And it ranges from some are filled with wonder, but I would say the dominant emotion is anxiety. It's anxiety about its impact on jobs, on homework. There's a lot of hand-wringing around chat GPT.

I'm not sure the homework doers are feeling anxiety. I think they're feeling delight, but the assigners of homework. That's right. It's just to be clear, chat GPT can do your homework for you on almost any topic. It can totally pass up to up through like software of college. It could pass any test like written test
