The king of Babylon struck them and put them to death at Ribbla. So Judah was taken into exile out of its land. Gedalia made governor of Judah. Jojahyakin is freed by evil Meradak. Jehoiakim reigned 11 years in Jerusalem. He did what was evil in the sight of the Lord his God. Against him came up Nebuchadnezzar, King of Babylon. The second book of Chronicles, chapter 36.
