Queer Stories - How to Tell the Story You Want to Tell
Maeve is the host and creator of queer stories, which has become an Australian institution. Her prompt at queer stories is actually tell the story you want to tell that I never asked to. And so she did a story about being involved in the largest land rescue in Australian history - by airlifted out by helicopter. Nearly 300 people have performed at queer stories now, and the stories are always different because of that prompt. It could have been edited in 15 different ways. But what it does do is it takes you out of the studio off the stage and back to that place where just by being there, you might remember something that you didn't even think you'd remember.
