In oathbringer we actually get more information from marese about aether. In the mem interlude Mem is tasked with removing an unusual stain on marese's fancy clothes. She describes it as kind of a dark reddish yeah oil and bloodYeah she describes it it might be so i thought that was interesting because amberite is definitely described as being a rosy like pink color more like that rock.
