The Value of a Humanist Role
Part of the value of this role is that when it's set up in the way that we've done it for example all the engineers report to me so they don't actually report directly to their lead they report to me. Even the leads report to me directly as well and they have their dotted line relationships with their technical director or or their lead depending on who you're talking about. This gives me the freedom and the flexibility to express myself and also support in a way that doesn't bring a conflict, he says.
