Education is very powerful, but we also know that education can be misused and abused. Professor bisel helped me really process this andnd come to terms with it in a certain way. He taught us that memory is the ingredientd and when you encounter stories and allow them to change you, your behaviour changes. And i think it really does happen that because we are aware of those people whose stories we carry, or people struggled with moral questions, or even those who failed,. Those stories are powerfully instructive. It's not only true of religious traditions. It's true of all human wisdom. Even even being connected to our ancestors and our parents and grandparents stories, and the earliest family story
