This week on the Value Perspective podcast, we’re delighted to be joined by Alex Roepers, a guest at this year’s London Value Investment Conference. Alex is the Founder, President and Portfolio Manager of Atlantic Investment Management and a legend in the value investing world. With nearly 40 years of experience, he has navigated countless market cycles and gained a reputation as a ‘gentleman activist’, someone who engages constructively with management to unlock value, especially in the industrial sector. His approach is distinct, with a concentrated portfolio of only 8-10 stocks, a patient mindset and a sharp eye for undervalued assets. Born and raised in the Netherlands, but now based in New York, Alex brings an international perspective to his investing style, following his previous experiences at Thyssen-Bornemisza Group and Dover Corporation.
