The Psychology of Superstition

There are very few instances where, if you have complete control and you know what's going to happen, then that you employ superstition. Even if the outcome is very important, it's only in those circumstances where you can't be certainof outcome that a superstition comes about. In the case of personal superstitions, the process is a sort of trial and error thing. And i think what sustains it in the long run is that is not, of course, it's not that it's magic. There is no magic that would make a tie help you in a practical sense. But, but it probably acquires some psychological value.
