The use of painted imagery is part of, i don't know, the image projection of the reign of late queen elizabeth the second. There are probably a hundred images of queen victoria in the royal collection and so you'd be lucky to find ten paintings of her. Charles has commissioned now three series at least, and maybe another one in the pipe line tat since my retiement. He's very passionate about traditional teaching of drawing, one woders if he will go for painted portrait or a drawing because of that conviction. And unquestionably will.
