Climate change is affecting a lot of animal species, not just polar bears. Scientists noticed that the number of pica's in certain areas were shrinking or even disappearing. Johanna went to set up her first study as a pica scientist and chose one site where pica seemed to be doing alright. But then something unexpected happened: A big wildfire swept across the whole north face of Mount Hood.
