Beggar Vance: A Passage Through the Wilderness

"I'm doing a little thing on Instagram now about what I call a passage through the wilderness," Vance said. "We fall out of, we have a period of our lives where we're really in the wilderness." He says he grew up in a household that was incredibly loud and unstable; then got into a profession where it's his job to settle down drunk people.
