The Range of EVs Depends on the Ambient Temperature
A recent report done by consumer reports shows how the range of EVs depends a lot based on the ambient temperature. If it's really cold cold batteries just don't have the same battery life that you would get if you know it's at 70 degrees or 80 degrees and actually the same thing holds true if it's really really hot too. Tesla has been accused of is like being a little too optimistic in their range estimates so that especially in the first 50% of the battery it would be very optimistic.
