The Case of Sam Shepard

Marilyn Shepard was found dead at her home in July. Her husband Sam said he saw an intruder and had been involved in two altercations with him, but there was no sign of forced entry. The family dog also did not bark during the murder or any other time after Marilyn's death. Police went to Bayview hospital to see what Sam's coworkers thought of him; they turned up with nothing interviewing his coworkers. They were trying to figure out why exactly he would kill his pregnant wife.
