Is Free Will Really an Illusion?
There are nervo scientists who think there's a version of the interpreter happening in in us at all, a normal, healthy brain. And so do we witness, rather than drive and determine our actions? Is it like a roller coaster ride and we're sitting there helpless? I don't know. But if someone does conclude that free will is essentially an illusion and we're just along for the ride, is there any culpability at all? Can we blame anybody for anything? Is it moral to punish people?
