Sometimes clients overestimate the level of training that their animal has, particularly under a given condition. So one of the first asks that I suggest for clients to the veterinary team is, can I schedule an appointment to meet the vet and do a checkup? And while I'm there, can I show you what my animal can do? "I know how this feels, do not send somebody a novel to who you've never met"
