The Nineteenth Crusade

The ninth crusade is the last, traditionally numbered crusade. It was the last a concerted, organized, armed expedition launched with the hope of either strengthening the crusaders states or recapturing jerusalem. There were many other smaller expeditions and movements that could also be called crusades. Some of them have been overlooked by history. The so called children's crusade in 12 12 has become a sort of part of popular myth important one to remember. But most of the participants in this movement were not children.
