People are generally happy to help people who have already done their home work. People typically do not want to waste their valuable time on those who are asking like a glorified let me google that for you. The other thing that i would say is make sure that you're also bringing something to the table, like cookies. Those types of things are so easy to do, and yet so rare that they're n remembered.
