The House Oversight Committee has called a few former Twitter executives, including Deputy Counsel James Baker to testify about the Hunter Biden laptop story. John Sutter: Do we buy the testimony of the former Twitter executives? He says it doesn't really answer the bigger question which is how tight is this relationship between government and social media companies like Twitter.Sutter: It seems pretty clear that there's no question that they were constantly talking to the FBI. The FBI paid Twitter because so much, the Twitter employees were doing so much work for the FBI that like they had to cover the expenses.
