The Importance of Understanding Your Beliefs
I love the starting point of just understanding and asking those questions you know it's often set along with the questions that people want to know that you care about them before they're open to hearing truth. Sometimes I have struggled with this concept because it has the potential to be patronizing so someone can feel like you're just kind of humoring them by hearing them out knowing that you're probably thinking all along that what they're saying is wrong. If we try to hide who we are and pretend that we're somebody else then it can come across as patronizing but if we let people know exactly what we believe and then we're kind with them it just shows generosity it shows a willingness
