The law was sort of an accident in some ways because I didn't think that it was on the cards in any way. "I definitely was not after my A-levels I went to read English which is all I wanted to do really at university but that's a not very good university," she says. She also talks about growing up during Thatcher era and how her family were groundly mocked for going off to big city.
