Is There a Case for Shorter Workweeks in India?
The majority of our workforce is in the unorganized sector. In healthcare for example a four-day work week may be challenging because there is a need to you know be connected with the patient and it involves patient care. Offering flexible work arrangements such as part-time and remote work may be feasible in some roles. So if our concern is to improve the employee well-being and of course which has indirect effect on the productivity I think that's a better solution.
